RAFAEL RODRIGUEZ, MD, FACP
Dr. Rafael Rodriguez specializes in the care of adolescents, adults and senior citizens. He provides general health treatment, which includes the care and prevention of Heart, Diabetes, Respiratory, Gastrointestinal and joint diseases.
After specializing in Internal Medicine at St Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York (a hospital affiliated to New York Hospital / Cornell Medical Center), he moved to the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where he practiced for 10 years. During this time, he held different executive positions at Knapp Medical Center including Chief of Staff and Trustee of the Hospital Governing Board. He also founded, along with different leaders of the community, The Aurora House, a non profit organization dedicated to the care of the terminally ill. On August, 2006, Dr. Rodriguez relocated his office in Mesquite, Texas.
